Yankee 30 "Eagle"

Eagle is the black hulled Yankee 30, hull number 9 owned by John Olson. John bought Eagle in April of 2002 and has been working to bring her back into sailing condition. Photos below were taken the day he was removing the stanchions. He discovered no backing plates and only small washers. A previous owner installed two really nice Lewmar Ocean Series 60 hatches, one over the V-berth and a second over the main cabin. Also a nice Yanmar diesel to replace the original engine.
