I have noticed less than favorable performance upwind in club races. Rig adjustment, new 3DL jib and hydraulic backstay helped some, but other boats still point 10-15° higher.
Is this common to Yankee 30? Any suggestions?

I had the same problem before buying a new main... Still point a couple of degrees less than the fast boats, but the new main made a huge difference.
