What’s this hole for?

What’s this hole for?

I’m finishing up my hull to keel joint. I have two thru hulls just above the joint, one starboard, one port.
One is for raw water intake, what’s the other for?

Another raw water intake of some kind? .... although I'm at a loss to think what for since the head is a ways away. I've been told that some of the early boats had an elaborate system of drains for the cockpit and deck, etc., but I don't know where the water drained. Bob Boynton could answer that one, since he ripped it out of his boat. Other penetrations are specialized thru hull fittings like a knot meter could be just above the joint. If its beyond the turn of the hull on the more horizontal surface it could be for a depth sounder. It's not for one of those is it?

not the head for sure.
This is a MKIII.
not for the cockpit, it's just about center of the keel, just above, 2 inches or so from the keel joint. Maybe a knot meter. The is a hole fo rthe depth under the sbd sette.
Well, thanks for the info
